Cell Groups
We believe the best place to experience Christian life is through cell groups. Every week, our cell groups meet informally in homes to encourage and build each other up through the 4 fundamentals of a disciple’s life – Worship, Walk, Word and Works.
Why Cell Groups?
There are at least 3 major reasons:
-
Living in Community
Join a cell because it is biblical. In the Old Testament, Moses organized the people into small groups to meet the needs of the people (Exodus 18:21). In the New Testament, the early church met as small groups in homes (Acts 2:46). Our Lord Jesus himself used small groups as a strategy for disciple-making (Acts 2:46). God never intends His church to be an impersonal group of mere Sunday worshippers.
-
Growing in Community
Join a cell because growth takes place in community, not isolation. Cell groups are the primary focus of congregational life. It is only by becoming a part of a cell group that we will experience the life of the church. It is a redemptive environment that is conducive to mutual learning, ministry and spiritual growth.
-
Serving in Community
An essential call of the kingdom of God is the call to serve (Mark 10:43-45). An effective cell structure unleashes the church to serve. It releases talented believers to accomplish 3 things – pastoral care, evangelism and disciple-making.
We welcome you to join a cell today. Please write to us for any enquiry.
