Cultivate The Habit Of Praying

Scripture

Mark 1:35 — Then Jesus got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer.

Observation

Prayer is communion with God and illustrate our total dependence on  God.   It is an importance resource to help us grow in our personal relationship with God as a Christian.

I often feel shy when asked to pray for others but enjoy praying when I am alone. I envy people who can pray out loud in public with fluency and never seem to be lost in words. Although I know what God really wants is to hear from my heart!

Application

Always make consistent time for prayer.

Prayer

Lord, please help me to cultivate the habit of praying daily.  Let it be a regular part of my life so that I can be of a good example to my family and others. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
