At first glance the Bible appears to many people as a puzzle,
with parts that are not easily assembled. We know stories
from the Bible but do not know the story of the Bible.
That's like having a handful of pearls with no string to link
them together.
Unlocking The Bible course will give you the string, and
show you how the pearls of God's truth fit together. It will
show you the big picture and help you to discover the
breathtaking sweep of the whole Bible story. Specifically,
the course will help you:
• DISCOVER the Bible as one whole marvelous story
• LEARN the Bible's vocabulary and discover the major
themes of the Bible.
• WORSHIP as the whole Bible revolves around one
central focus, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Unlocking the Bible does not cover every chapter or even
every book of the Bible, but it will take you through the
whole of the Bible story, and show you how it fits together.
You will be introduced and journey through the major
themes of the Bible. Part 2 of this course will cover 7
themes from Leviticus 26 through to Ruth 4. Those who
missed Part 1 are welcome to attend.
1. Blessing: If God’s love is unconditional, why does
obedience matter?
2. Courage: How can we contribute to advancing
God’s purpose in the world?
3. Giving: How can we stay spiritually healthy in a
materialistic culture?
4. Evil: How can we create a culture that is conducive
to holiness?

in our society today?

This course is designed for those who have received the
Lord Jesus as their personal Savior and wish to be waterbaptized.
The students will learn the importance of church
membership and meaning of the Lord’s Supper and Water
Baptism.

around the Eightfold Core Curriculum developed by Edmund
Chan. The Eightfold Core Curriculum identifies the
eight fundamental aspects of discipleship, shows how they
build upon one another, and helps you to both diagnose the
root issues that are hindering discipleship, as well as determine
what to do about them!
Each aspect of the Eightfold Core Curriculum leads you to
answer a fundamental discipleship question:
1. Biblical Theology: Who is God?
2. Biblical Allegiance: Who is my Master in life?
3. Biblical Identity: Who am I?
4. Biblical Purpose: What am I called to do?
5. Biblical Values: What is of ultimate importance in
my life?
6. Biblical Priorities: What are the things I must put
first?
7. Biblical Empowering: How can I be empowered?
8. Biblical Foundation: What should I anchor my life
upon?
